Why I Use the King James Bible Only

Dedicated to my friend, my mentor, my Brother in Christ, Damian Orihuela.

God made a promise about His words in Psalm 12:

"The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." Psalm 12:6-7 (KJB)

God didn't just inspire His words long ago. He promised to purify them seven times and to preserve them for every generation, and He kept that promise. His word came down through seven languages:

  1. Hebrew
  2. Greek
  3. Aramaic
  4. Old Syriac
  5. Old Latin
  6. Old German
  7. The King's English

The King James Bible is the seventh, purified seven times, just as Psalm 12 says. It is the final English translation, and it is complete. It is God's preserved, pure word for English-speaking people.

That's why every verse in my books comes from the King James Bible, quoted word for word. I don't paraphrase it, and I don't mix in other versions. When God says His words are pure, I want to give my readers exactly what He said.

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Matthew 24:35 (KJB)

"For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven." Psalm 119:89 (KJB)

Through every trial in my life, God's word has never failed me. I trust it completely, and I want you to be able to trust it too.

"The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe." Proverbs 29:25 (KJB)
